David Hofstedter

David Hofstedter is a Toronto business executive, philanthropist, and community leader whose work spans real estate, Jewish education, and charitable initiatives.

David founded Davpart Inc. in 1993 with just three industrial properties. Over the past 30 years, he has grown the company’s portfolio in various forms of real estate including office, retail, industrial, and residential. He has been involved in major development projects throughout downtown Toronto.

Beyond his business career, David is a dedicated leader in the Orthodox Jewish community. In 1997 he founded Dirshu, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Torah study. The organization has grown to include programs internationally.

David has also participated in lectures and public speaking engagements focused on Jewish education, philanthropy, and community leadership. His work has been featured in various Jewish and mainstream media outlets.
